Real estate photo and video - places for people

We are a people first video production company, usually working on photo and video projects that have people at the centre so even if we are filming real estate we try and keep the focus on not just the form of the building but also the function, how it is designed for every day use by people.

We have been lucky to work together with the major international commercial real estate services and investment firms CBRE, JLL, Cushman & Wakefield and Hines on workplace employee profile videos, renovation and moving before/after videos and client case study videos so I thought would do a quick round up of recent real estate focused work.

Before and after video and architectural photos of an office building renovation in Yokohama. This multistory office building is being renovated, both inside and outside in the common areas so the client wanted a record of the changes being made with photos and video, both ground and from the air, to use for promotional purposes. This is an ongoing project

Photos and a short video to showcase the variety and scale of a client’s property management services in Tokyo. From the iconic building next to Shinjuku Station now housing outdoor store Alpen, to the up market style of stores for Herman Miller in Ginza and Shibuya, the client wanted short SNS focused content to remind everyone that they are involved with a diverse range of commercial properties.

Photos and video showcasing the move to a new purpose designed office space in central Tokyo. The move was not just about more space, but about more flexibility for different working styles , more innovative spaces to allow better collaboration, integrating better technology to connect remotely and virtually, practical sustainability initiatives that also led to a mind shift change, and also a Japanese tea room area! The videos and photos we produced not only showed the space from an architectural, but also from a user perspective, showing the design as both innovative and functional.

Case study videos profiling the project management expertise of an international real estate management and services company, with testimonial interviews from the clients and shots of the spaces being used. These client testimonial videos are a great way to go beyond numbers and goals achieved to actually hear how the new buildings or renovations actually directly benefited productivity and well being.

A set of 360 photos and standard photos, both from the ground and drone, to promote a very large warehouse and distribution center in Nara. The 360 photos are taken with a full-frame mirrorless camera (4-5 photos with a fish-eye lens stitched together with specialized software), not a 2 lens consumer 360 camera, to ensure high definition and a professional look. 360 photos allow the viewer to explore the space at their own pace, but resolving limits of 360 prosumer cameras can lower the view time and overall impression of the viewer.
